The privacy and consent process around use of technology in schools (edtech) is a mess. I've recently done some reporting on it and was also part of a panel discussion: 'Can schools achieve informed consent with digital technology?'

A worthwhile thing to remember about all manner of things (ahem ... HR ... ahem):
LLMs are expensive to build and run. As time goes they will serve the interests of the person paying for it. Keep in mind who your technology is really serving when interacting with it.
This is a spot on diagnosis — I just wish someone would come up with a treatment plan that's just as cogent.
