How to use NDI Polaris with Plus toolkit and Slicer 3D

Hi! I'm trying to use a Polaris Vega with Slicer 3D et Plus toolkit in order to track markers. I've connected the Polaris to my computer using an NDI USB adapter (I've attached a picture). For the software side, I have Plus toolkit and Slicer 3D.

I use Plus to create a link between the Polaris and Slicer 3D. For the device set configuration I use one which is already provided in the Plus toolkit installation folder (it is called PlusDeviceSet_Server_NDIPolaris and I attached the file).

My problem is that when I do "launch server" on Plus and I click on the button at the bottom right to open the console, I see that there are lots of error messages and warnings, but the connection is established nonetheless. Console messages are also attached to the post. I am then able to open a connection on Slicer with OpenIGTLinkIF but none of my parameters appear (neither the tools nor the device).

I don't really understand what's going on but I think the connection hasn't been established between Plus and the Polaris. Maybe a driver problem? Or parameter in the device set config? Or maybe the error messages and the warnings are normal? If so, what are the next steps I need to take to see the tracked markers on slicer?

Tools won't appear in Slicer from the OpenIGTLink connection until they are tracked for the first time.
If you wave the specified tools in front of the camera, do you see them appear in Slicer?

I would recommend looking through some of the tutorials from the SlicerIGT website: https://www.slicerigt.org/wp/user-tutorial/

I'm trying to display a tool which is needle with 4 markers attached to it. I followed the steps you said (Create a model with IGT extension, go to Data module's transform hierarchy). But I don't understand what (The needle model I just created ? Or StylusToTracker ?) I should drag and dropand where.

You should drag & drop the NeedleModel onto StylusToTracker. The model should move when you move the stylus. Note that it won't be calibrated. Some of the tutorials should help you get started with stylus calibration.

Thank you! When I drag and drop the NeedleModel onto StylusToTracker the needle image disappears from the 3D screen and nothing happens when I wave the tool. Do you have a tutorial to suggest me from the link you sent before please ? I just to want to see the model moving when I move the stylus. I'll do the calibration later. Thanks ?

You can click the "fit" button at the top of the 3D view to see the 3D model that gets out of view after you apply the transform.

Everything that has been discussed here is described in detail in SlicerIGT tutorials. It would save everyone some time if you could complete the basic tutorials before asking more guidance here. If you get stuck with following any of the tutorials then feel free to start a new discussion.
