Welcome to the Sandi Port Errant Language and Culture Learning Center!
The LCLC supports the School of Literatures, Cultural Studies and Linguistics in creating interactive learning opportunities for students. We host cultural and language-related events open to all UIC students, faculty, and staff. We coordinate Peer Tutoring and Language Learning Assistant programs for French, Italian, German, and Spanish Basic Language Programs, providing assistance to instructors and helpful resources to students in and out of the classroom.
Learn more about our events and resources, see the schedules for virtual and in-person Peer Tutoring, Language Conversation Hours, Film Series, and special events by clicking on the tabs below.

Peer Tutors and LLAs
Our undergraduate Peer Tutors and Language Learning Assistants (LLAs) are upper-level students in Italian, French, German, and Spanish who visit classes, offer free drop-in help hours for 100-level students, prepare and lead review sessions, and help students engage with the cultural traditions they study.
