A nice (small, simple?) enhancement to commitmonitor would be to automatically select the affected project in the tree when clicking the notification slider. If the notification involves more than one project, selecting the first one listed should be fine, or, for a little more pizzaz, the one with the oldest new commit.
Example:
I have projects A through F defined.
I select project B, and then hide commitmonitor.
Some time later, commitmonitor sees a commit to project C and shows me a notification.
I click the notification, and commitmonitor comes up. {new bit here:} commitmonitor automatically selects project C so that I can review the commit.
