If it’s not obvious: we’re on the Slava Ukraini side. Good will overcome evil.

Pinacoteca Aparat
occult écran | art museum and collection
Pinacoteca Aparat is a collection of artworks, pieces of culture, stories, photos, and noises, set within a reworked and reimagined unity of a church altar and Christian iconostasis, built as an ever-changing oak structure.
The collection explores the layers of Bulgarian culture and art within a broader Southern European context. It brings together works and communities from Bulgaria, through Northern Greece, Albania, Southern Italy, Occitània, and Catalunya — territories not usually considered in relation, yet connected through shared medieval structures and movements, including the world of the Bogomils, a medieval Bulgarian movement whose passage marked these regions.
Our collection is semi-hidden and presented in our Exhibitions and Salon according to the museum’s own artistic choices. These settings allow us to highlight Neolithic sacred forms, the symbolic world of Thracian rituals, the spatial and spiritual language of medieval Bulgarian and Renaissance art, as well as modernist works.
At other times, the museum becomes a stage for original projects, presenting works with active authorial participation in contemporary art, design, and architecture.
We publish our magazine, Harmonica de Clocharium, in support of the collection; the readers and visitors of our monthly Salon and exhibitions form the 235U Society, an independent art circle.
A cabinet de curiosités, a pinacoteca, or a pop-art bonsai of an anthropological museum — the installation reflects the images, interests, and ideas of its founder, the Bulgarian artist vldr-vldrm, and his société.
Usually open only during moon and solar eclipses — but (almost) every third Saturday of the month, the house opens for invited guests.
At 5 PM: Le Salon Société - art, coffee, tea and fragments of the collection.
All projects of Vldr-Vldrm, including Pinacoteca.Aparat’s activities and events, fully support the Ukrainian society and its art, a teacher of spirit and resilience for all other European cultures. Slava Ukraini!
