Today the cooks/chemists brewed up a hand made with love lotion. Gaby and I mixed some pure organic oil, bees wax, purified water and essential oils to make a velvety moisturizing lotion that really works. It so so much fun.

Our blender malfunctioned And we hand whisked our potion. It turned into a smooth silky lovely lotion.

By Pam Carriker. Diane gave me this great art book for my birthday and inside was a favorite artist Lisa Bebi who included this technique of paint over of photo. My friend Kathy took her class at
Artfest a few years ago and I have wanted to do this since then. I loved the process and know as I practice it will get better. Thank you Lisa bebi for sharing this treasured recipe. The picture was taken in 1955, we were getting ready to leave to America.

Collage

Was searching thru old art papers and found a technique I learned to make my own art paper backgrounds. I happened to remember how I did it. And I made the following series of papers. I would love to teach a
Class doing this technique. It is so much fun.

Baby turkeys

Ever wonder what 8 hour old turkeys look like. They are so darn cute. These will be about 150 lb when full grown. They are breeder turkeys on there way to Indy via fedex. I almost asked them for one, but knew Jim would send me to the turkey farm if I dared being one home. It could just imagine a turkey Lucy and Ethel. And Apollo. Ok turkey farm for me.

Window display

Went to Hollywood yesterday and found this amazing window display at free people. It was simply fabric torn in pieces. The thing that made it was the tasseled strips, and the sun behind it.

Pure Heart

Our local jewelry shop carries my line of jewelry called Pure Heart. They had a wonderful valentine party and I snapped a few shots of some of my pieces. This morning I visited my favorite jewelry artist Nina Bagley. I found Found she had made a necklace from a charm I made with a
Bird that said tweet.
Www.ornamental.typepad.com. It is beautiful Nina. What an honor.

This photo was taken with my favorite iPhone app called tilt shift generater. It punches up the color and gives a miniature toy effect. And how could I resist these gems.
