"Minat Soul" marks the first collaboration in 10 years with the Swedish trio Tape, following a series of releases that began with "Tan-Tan Therapy" —which featured the classic “Baibaba Bimba”—and continued with "Papa’s Ear" and "Music Exists Disc 3". As symbolized by the fact that this fourth release of the team marks the first time the artist credit has shifted from Tenniscoats alone to “Tenniscoats with Tape,” the collaboration delves even deeper than previous works. It stands as the pinnacle of their collaborative efforts, crystallizing high creativity, musicianship, a spirit of adventure, playfulness, and sensibility at a sophisticated level.

少数のゲスト参加を除いてほぼ全ての作業をさや＆植野が手がけた『Zenvu Yume (revision)』とは対照的に、コラボレーション巧者テニスコーツの面目躍如、名曲“バイババビンバ”収録の『Tan-Tan Therapy』（2007）を皮切りに、『Papa’s Ear』（2012）、『Music Exists Disc3』（2016）と続いてきた、スウェーデンのエレクトロ・アコースティック・トリオTapeとの待望の新作。4作目にして初めてアーティスト表記が「Tenniscoats with Tape」名義であることが象徴するように、過去作から更に踏み込んだ共同作業が行われており、高いクリエイティビティとミュージシャンシップ、冒険心と繊細さとが高度の次元で結晶したコラボレーション最高傑作。
