Better Stack provides uptime monitoring with detailed error screenshots and a timeline with 30-second checks. Its log management system collects logs across services using Vector, Syslog, or OpenTelemetry. It offers quick metrics integration with Prometheus or OpenTelemetry, and custom metrics creation from logs.
The tool also supports Playwright checks, running tests with a real Chrome browser instance. It features OpenTelemetry-native tracing with eBPF instrumentation. Its error tracking feature detects bugs, identifies error root causes, and creates tickets automatically.

I don't have to worry about my website not working without me noticing it anymore. It is a practical solution for everyone who needs their website to be up and running constantly! Good value for money as well.
looks futuristic but is terrible. to start with there is a pop up saying they need a phone number during signup FOR ALERTS but surely want to do sales calls. Like what? I dont want no freaking alerts in shortmessages. also your favicon looks like an inverted adidas logo.
the enshittification hit them hard with claims like "Better Stack is an AI-native platform". Geez, can it get worse?
sure, first round of finance was german company creandum...who in 2022 thought we would need another monitoring service...just to have it based in SF ...where there are already plenty of those.
I think it is a scam.
Great Pingdom alternative!
I have switched from Pingdom 3 months ago and I couldn't be happier. Absolutely love the screenshot feature in the alerts - super helpful. The notifications are lighting fast and reliable. If my monitors go down I get a phone call and I also have a Slack integration. Recommend to anyone that had enough with their monitoring tools.
