I purchased this single as it is part of Myrkur's folk orientated body of work which I hugely enjoy. Having a pristine sheen to it, this song is edging more in the direction of commercial folk, in the vein of Clannad or Enya... I can even imagine it within the score of a big budget fantasy blockbuster film - it is teetering on the brink of being not for me. The song is good, though, Amalie has a spellbinding voice which I never tire of, and I appreciate the narrative folk lyrics.
