Building on the notions of \u2018digital democratic affordance\u2019 and \u2018cross-platform play\u2019, this article uniquely theorises political consumerism as a multi-scalar mode of human\u2013non-human interactions. The concept of\n                    <jats:italic toggle=\"yes\">multi-scalar cross-platform affordances<\/jats:italic>\n                    is formulated to demonstrate how different digital platforms \u2013 large or small, corporate or amateur, global or local \u2013 co-constitute an environment in which citizens are progressively channelled to engage in multiple platforms, reinvent them in concert with one another and participate in political consumption across time and space.
