## Pricing

from $0.75 / 1,000 company profiles

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

# README

Turn public LinkedIn company URLs into structured company snapshots without supplying a LinkedIn account or cookies. Receive company details, follower and employee signals, recent public posts, and a comparison with the previous successful snapshot.

### What this Actor does

The Actor processes direct `/company/<slug>/` URLs and returns the public organization data LinkedIn exposes. It stores successful snapshots so later runs can report `initial`, `unchanged`, or `changed` and identify the fields that changed.

### Use cases

- Enrich company and lead lists with current public organization data.
- Monitor follower, employee, profile, and public-post changes.
- Add company context to recruiting, sales, and market-research workflows.

### How to use

1. Open the Actor in Apify Console.
2. Add 1–100 public LinkedIn company URLs.
3. Choose **All current snapshots** or **Changed companies only**.
4. Click **Start** and open the Dataset when the run finishes.

### Input

`companyUrls` is required and accepts 1–100 direct public LinkedIn company URLs. Personal profiles, jobs, posts, search pages, and non-LinkedIn URLs are invalid. `deliveryMode: "all"` returns every valid snapshot. `deliveryMode: "changes_only"` returns successful rows only when a stored snapshot changed; error rows remain visible, and the first successful snapshot is returned.

This exact input produced the complete output below:

```json
{
  "companyUrls": [
    "https://www.linkedin.com/company/microsoft/"
  ],
  "deliveryMode": "all"
}
```

### Output

A successful row contains canonical company identity, public organization fields, recent public post previews, source signals, snapshot hash, comparison state, and changed fields. Missing optional values are `null` or empty arrays. Failed rows contain `success: false`, a status such as `invalid_url`, `invalid_response`, `blocked`, or `network_error`, and an error message.

This is the complete Dataset item from a real successful run:

### Pricing

The Actor uses tiered pay-per-event pricing for each successfully extracted company profile written to the Dataset. Apify selects the tier from your account plan automatically.

| Apify plan tier | Price per profile | Price per 1,000 profiles |
| --- | ---: | ---: |
| Free | $0.001 | $1.00 |
| Bronze | $0.0009 | $0.90 |
| Silver | $0.0008 | $0.80 |
| Gold | $0.00075 | $0.75 |
| Platinum | $0.00075 | $0.75 |
| Diamond | $0.00075 | $0.75 |

Invalid URLs, blocked or unavailable pages, network errors, and unchanged checks omitted by `changes_only` are not charged. There is no Actor-start charge.

### API and integrations

Run the Actor through Apify Console, API, CLI, schedules, or webhooks. Schedules combined with `changes_only` are useful for monitoring; consume Dataset items through the API or supported integrations and retain the same storage context for snapshot comparisons.

### Related Actors

| Actor | Best for |
|---|---|
| [LinkedIn Public Profile Scraper](https://apify.com/datascraperes/linkedin-public-profile-scraper) | Enriching public profiles of founders, employees, or stakeholders. |
| [LinkedIn Jobs Scraper – No Login](https://apify.com/datascraperes/linkedin-jobs-scraper) | Tracking the roles and locations a company is hiring for. |
| [LinkedIn Ad Library Scraper – No Login](https://apify.com/datascraperes/linkedin-ad-library-scraper) | Researching a company's public LinkedIn advertising activity. |

### Limits and data quality

Each run accepts up to 100 company URLs. LinkedIn controls public field availability, and counts or posts can change between runs. Snapshot comparisons depend on the previous successful stored snapshot; changing or clearing storage resets that history. A successful result can still contain `null` optional fields when LinkedIn did not expose them.

### Frequently asked questions

#### What is the difference between the delivery modes?

`all` returns every successful current snapshot. `changes_only` returns and charges a successful row only for an initial or changed snapshot; unchanged checks are omitted and free.

#### Why does the first run show a comparison?

The Actor establishes an initial baseline, or compares with an earlier successful snapshot already stored for that company. The `comparisonState` tells you which case applies.

### Responsible use

Use only publicly available company information for lawful purposes. You are responsible for complying with LinkedIn's terms, applicable privacy and data-protection laws, and the rights associated with company content and public posts.
