## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

# README

## Zing MP3 Scraper: Dữ liệu nhạc công khai

Scrape public Zing MP3 (ZingMP3.vn) song, album, playlist, and artist metadata into a clean dataset. Each row includes a clear availability status so catalog, research, and rights teams can distinguish publicly available pages from unavailable or region-restricted pages. No audio extraction or regional-control bypass.

### What it collects

| Public metadata | Availability and provenance |
| --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Title, artist names, album, duration, release date, genre, language, and artwork when exposed on the page | Canonical public page URL, scrape time, and an honest `status` with a reason when a page cannot be resolved |

The Actor accepts normally accessible public Zing MP3 song, album, playlist, and artist pages. It does not use accounts or credentials, extract audio or media links, download music, expose premium content, collect full lyrics, or bypass geographic restrictions.

### How to use

1. Add one or more public `zingmp3.vn` URLs.
2. Choose the maximum number of metadata rows for the run.
3. Review the dataset, including each row's `status`, `statusReason`, and `canonicalUrl`.

The default input contains one public Zing MP3 song page and is ready for a small cloud test run.

### Input

| Field | Type | Default | Description |
| ------------- | ------------- | ------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

| `geo_restricted` | Zing MP3 did not make the page available from the current authorized region. The Actor does not attempt a bypass. |
| `upstream_error` | The public page could not be fetched successfully. |

### FAQ

#### Zing MP3 có tải nhạc không?

No. This Actor does not download music, return audio, or extract media links.

#### Zing MP3 bị giới hạn khu vực thì kết quả thế nào?

The dataset returns `geo_restricted` with a clear reason. It does not attempt to change region, use a proxy to bypass access controls, or return restricted content.

#### Does it return full lyrics or premium content?

No. Full lyrics, premium content, audio streams, downloads, account data, and personal-library data are outside this Actor's scope.

If you use this Actor, feedback about metadata coverage and availability statuses is welcome on its Apify page.
