## Pricing

from $0.125 / result

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

### Pricing and limits

- Each dataset result is charged according to the current Actor pricing shown in Apify Console.
- Detailed scraping adds a detail charge for every event page visited.
- Use `maxEvents` to control both result volume and spend. Published examples use small explicit limits.

# Actor input Schema

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

City, venue, or event URLs from Shotgun.live to scrape. City pages (e.g., https://shotgun.live/en/cities/new-york) will discover all events in that city. City URLs also support optional genre and/or date filters as path segments: /en/cities/{city}/{genre}/{YYYY-MM-DD} (use '-' as the genre placeholder for date-only, e.g. /en/cities/paris/-/2026-07-10). Genre slugs: afro, dance, downtempo, experimental, hard-music, hip-hop, house, industrial, instrumental, latino-brazilian, metal, pop, reggae-dub, rock, techno, trance, uk. Venue pages (e.g., https://shotgun.live/en/venues/volange) will discover all events at that venue. Event pages (e.g., https://shotgun.live/en/events/event-name) will scrape that specific event.

## `maxEvents` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of events to scrape across all start URLs.

## `scrapeEventDetails` (type: `boolean`):

When enabled, navigates to each event page for complete information (venue, lineup, tickets). Additional charges apply per event scraped.

## `proxyCountryCode` (type: `string`):

Two-letter country code for the residential proxy (e.g. US, FR, BR). Shotgun.live challenges a share of proxy IPs regardless of country; the scraper retries on fresh IPs automatically, so change this only if one country is consistently blocked for your target pages.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "startUrls": [
    {
      "url": "https://shotgun.live/en/cities/new-york/techno"
    }
  ],
  "maxEvents": 30,
  "scrapeEventDetails": false,
  "proxyCountryCode": "US"
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `dataset` (type: `string`):

Complete dataset containing every extracted field.

## `overviewView` (type: `string`):

Compact event discovery view.

## `eventDetailsView` (type: `string`):

Detailed event, ticket, lineup, organizer, and venue fields.
