## Pricing

from $1.90 / 1,000 events

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

TickPick (tickpick.com) is a US ticket marketplace for sports, concerts, and theater events with no hidden fees. This actor collects structured event data from TickPick category, search, and event detail pages.

### Introduction

The TickPick scraper starts from category or search URLs, collects event listings, opens detail pages, and extracts structured data such as event name, date, venue, performers, ticket pricing stats, and event metadata.

### Use Cases

- **Market research**: Track event pricing trends and ticket availability across sports, concerts, and theater.
- **Competitive analysis**: Compare ticket prices and inventory across events and venues.
- **Lead generation**: Build structured event datasets for sales, outreach, and enrichment workflows.
- **Analytics pipelines**: Feed dashboards, warehousing, and downstream analysis tools with normalized event data.

### Input

Provide the following fields:

- `startUrls` (array, required): TickPick category, search, or event detail URLs.
- `maxItems` (integer, optional): Maximum number of detail items to extract per start URL.
- `proxyConfiguration` (object, optional): Apify proxy settings.

Notes:

- If a `startUrl` is a category or search URL, the actor collects event detail pages from that source.
- If a `startUrl` is a detail URL, the actor extracts that event directly.
- `maxItems` is enforced per original input URL.
- Proxies are recommended for stability, especially for larger crawls.

### Input Examples

```json
{
  "startUrls": [
    {
      "url": "https://www.tickpick.com/nfl/arizona-cardinals-tickets/"
    },
    {
      "url": "https://www.tickpick.com/search/?q=imagine"
    }
  ],
  "maxItems": 5,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": false
  }
}
```

### Important Notes

The site is **geo-restricted**, you do not need a proxy but if you encounter issues accessing it, enable Apify proxy and location to US.

### Output

Each dataset item contains fields like:

```json
{
  "url": "https://www.tickpick.com/buy-los-angeles-rams-vs-new-york-giants-(date-tbd)-tickets-sofi-stadium-8-17-26-3am/7730383/",
}
```

### Why use the TickPick Scraper?

- **Focused**: Built specifically for TickPick event listing and detail flows.
- **Structured output**: Produces flat JSON records ready for automation and analysis.
- **Detail-first extraction**: Opens event pages and captures meaningful detail fields, pricing stats, and metadata.
- **Per-URL limits**: `maxItems` is enforced per original input URL.
- **Apify-native**: Works with Apify datasets, request queue, and proxy config.

### FAQ

- **How many events can it extract?**
  Controlled by `maxItems` per source URL.

- **Can it scrape sports, concerts, and theater?**
  Yes. The actor supports all TickPick event types.

- **Do I need proxies?**
  Not always, but proxies are recommended for larger runs and stability.

- **Can I start from a detail URL?**
  Yes. Event detail URLs are supported directly.

- **What if TickPick changes its site structure?**
  The actor may require updates to keep extraction stable.
