## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

# README

## Blinkit Scraper

Extract product data from Blinkit for any search keyword across any delivery area in India. Get prices, discounts, stock status, images, and categories — streamed live to your dataset as the scraper runs.

### What you can do

- 🔎 **Search Blinkit** for any keyword (`chocolate`, `shampoo`, `milk`) and pull every matching product.
- 🛍️ **Fetch a specific product** — just paste a Blinkit product URL (any link with `/prid/` in it) and get its full details.
- 📍 **Scrape from multiple cities** — each store you add represents one delivery pincode, so results reflect what that specific area sees.
- 💰 **Get live pricing** — MRP, selling price, discount %, stock status, and inventory counts.
- 🔀 **Mix inputs** — keywords and product URLs work in the same run; the actor routes each automatically.

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| **Search keywords** | What to search for, e.g. `chocolate`, `milk`, `shampoo` |
| **Store IDs** | One or more Blinkit store IDs — pick from the [Store Directory](#-store-directory) |

### 📍 Store directory

Blinkit serves different products in different areas. Pick a store that covers your city/pincode from the full directory:

👉 **[View all 2,100 Blinkit store IDs (JSON)](https://github.com/mindcase-co/quickcomm_stores/blob/main/blinkit.json)**  ·  [Raw](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/mindcase-co/quickcomm_stores/main/blinkit.json)

Quick reference — some popular cities:

| City | Stores available | Sample ID |
|---|---|---|
| New Delhi | 193 | `34748` (110001) |
| Bangalore | 170 | *see directory* |
| Mumbai | 120 | *see directory* |
| Gurugram | 95 | *see directory* |
| Hyderabad | 90 | *see directory* |

The JSON file groups all stores by city with their pincode and coordinates — Cmd+F / Ctrl+F to find yours.

### What you get back

Per product:

- **Identity:** store ID, product ID, variant ID
- **Product:** name, brand, quantity/pack size, category, sub-category
- **Pricing:** MRP, price, discount %
- **Availability:** in-stock flag, inventory count
- **Media:** image URLs
- **Quality signals:** rating, organic rank on the page
- **Context:** search query, page number

Results are pushed to the dataset as each page is scraped — you can download them at any time as JSON, CSV, Excel, or feed them into downstream integrations (Google Sheets, webhooks, Make.com, Zapier, etc.).

### Support

If you don't find your city or need help picking a store ID, reach out to the actor author on the Apify contact page.

# Actor input Schema

## `queries` (type: `array`):

Add one or more items. Each can be:

• A **search keyword** — e.g. `chocolate`, `milk`, `shampoo` — returns product listings matching the search.

• A **product URL** — e.g. `https://blinkit.com/prn/<slug>/prid/<product_id>` — returns details for that single product.

You can mix keywords and product URLs in the same run.

## `storeIds` (type: `array`):

One or more Blinkit store IDs. Results depend on the store — Blinkit only shows products serviceable to that location.

**See `STORES.json` in the actor's source for the full list of available store IDs grouped by city (with pincode, lat, lon).**

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Stop the run once this many products have been collected. Default: **1,000**. Raise it (up to 1,000,000) if you need more — the run will naturally stop earlier if the source has fewer results available.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Routes traffic through Apify Datacenter proxy by default.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "queries": [
    "chocolate"
  ],
  "storeIds": [
    "34748"
  ],
  "maxResults": 1000,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": true
  }
}
```

You can run this Actor programmatically using our API. Below are code examples in JavaScript, Python, and CLI, as well as the OpenAPI specification and MCP server setup.

## JavaScript example

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
// Initialize the ApifyClient with your Apify API token
// Replace the '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>' with your token
const client = new ApifyClient({
    token: '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>',
});
// Prepare Actor input
const input = {
    "proxyConfiguration": {
        "useApifyProxy": true
    }
};
// Run the Actor and wait for it to finish
const run = await client.actor("mindcase/blinkit-scraper").call(input);
// Fetch and print Actor results from the run's dataset (if any)
console.log('Results from dataset');
console.log(`💾 Check your data here: https://console.apify.com/storage/datasets/${run.defaultDatasetId}`);
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
items.forEach((item) => {
    console.dir(item);
});
