## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

### Sui Fullnode Owned Objects Scraper

**Scrape all owned objects for any Sui address directly from the fullnode, up to a million per run.** Each object returns its type, version, digest, and owner metadata. No custom RPC setup. Export to CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML.

Querying owned objects on Sui normally means writing GraphQL or RPC calls, handling pagination, and parsing the bcs-encoded responses yourself. This Actor reads the public fullnode endpoint for you, takes a single Sui address, and returns every owned object in one flat dataset. It works for wallets, contracts, and any address on mainnet or testnet.

| Who uses it | What they scrape Sui Fullnode for |
|---|---|
| Blockchain analysts | Audit the full inventory of a wallet or contract address. |
| DApp developers | Verify the owned objects of a user or smart contract during integration testing. |
| Portfolio trackers | Pull all token and NFT objects held by an address for valuation. |
| Compliance officers | Inspect the object holdings of an address for due diligence. |

### What it does

This Actor collects all owned objects for a given Sui address and returns each one as a flat row with its type, version, digest, and owner details.

- 🔗 **Single address input:** provide one Sui address and get all its owned objects back.
- 📦 **Flat object rows:** each object is returned with its type, version, digest, and owner metadata in a consistent schema.
- 📊 **High-volume runs:** paid users can pull up to 1,000,000 objects per run, with automatic pagination.

Results export to CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML, or straight from the API.

### What you can do with Sui Fullnode data

**📋 Audit a wallet's holdings.**

A compliance team enters a Sui address and exports all owned objects to verify the types and volumes of assets held.

**🧪 Test DApp object ownership.**

A developer runs the Actor against a testnet address to confirm that a newly minted NFT appears in the owned objects list.

**📈 Build a portfolio snapshot.**

A portfolio tracker scrapes an address daily and stores the object list to compute historical balances and changes.

**🔍 Investigate contract state.**

An analyst queries a smart contract address to list all objects it owns as part of a protocol security review.

### Why choose this scraper

| | What you get |
|---|---|
| **No RPC coding** | Skip writing and maintaining your own Sui RPC client and pagination logic. |
| **Full object metadata** | Get the type, version, digest, and owner for every object in one call. |
| **Scales to large wallets** | Handles addresses with up to a million owned objects in a single run. |
| **CSV, JSON, Excel, XML** | Export your dataset in the format your analysis tool expects. |

### How it compares

No other Store actor targets Sui Fullnode the same way, so the honest comparison is with the alternatives teams actually weigh.

| | Sui Fullnode Owned Objects Scraper | Build it in-house | By hand |
|---|---|---|---|
| Setup | Run it now, zero config | Days of engineering | None, but hours per pull |
| When Sui Fullnode changes | Maintained for you | You fix it | You re-learn the page |
| Proxies, retries, anti-bot | Built in | Your problem | Browser only |
| Output | Fixed JSON schema, CSV/Excel export | Whatever you build | Copy-paste |
| Cost | Pay per result | Engineering time | Analyst hours |

### Configure the run

Drive the Actor with a single Sui address and an optional maximum object count. The fullnode returns every owned object, and the Actor stops when it hits your limit or exhausts the address's objects. The Input tab lists every parameter.

A first run with the defaults:

```json
{
 "maxItems": 10
}
```

A larger pull:

```json
{
 "maxItems": 200
}
```

### Pricing

Pay-per-result: **$0.0085 per result** collected. You pay only for the results written to your dataset.

| Results collected | Approximate cost |
|---|---|
| 100 results | $0.85 |
| 1,000 results | $8.50 |
| 10,000 results | $85.00 |

New Apify accounts start with $5 in free credit.

### Free users

Free-plan runs return up to 10 results as a preview. [Upgrade your Apify plan](https://console.apify.com/sign-up?fpr=vmoqkp) to collect up to 1,000,000 results per run.

### Run it

1. [Create a free Apify account with $5 in credit](https://console.apify.com/sign-up?fpr=vmoqkp).
2. Open the [Sui Fullnode Owned Objects Scraper](https://apify.com/parseforge/sui-fullnode-objects-scraper?fpr=vmoqkp).
3. Set your inputs and any filters, then click **Start**.
4. Export the results as CSV, Excel, JSON, or XML from the **Dataset** tab.

Run it programmatically through the [Apify API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2) (`run-sync-get-dataset-items`) or the [ApifyClient](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js) for JavaScript and Python.

### Use with AI agents (MCP)

Give an AI agent live access to Sui Fullnode through the Model Context Protocol. Add the Actor to Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client:

```bash
claude mcp add --transport http apify "https://mcp.apify.com/?tools=parseforge/sui-fullnode-objects-scraper"
```

Then prompt it in plain language to run the scraper and read back the results.

### Troubleshooting

**I get no results for my address.**

Confirm the address is correct and has owned objects. An address that has never received assets will return an empty dataset. Also check that you are querying the correct network (mainnet vs testnet).

**The run stops at 10 objects even though I set a higher maxItems.**

Free Apify accounts are limited to 10 objects per run as a preview. Upgrade to a paid plan to scrape up to 1,000,000 objects.

**The Actor times out on a very large address.**

Try reducing the maxItems value to a smaller batch. If the address holds millions of objects, you may need to run multiple smaller scrapes or contact support for timeout adjustments.

**I see an error about an invalid address format.**

Sui addresses start with '0x' and are 66 characters long. Verify your input has no extra spaces or characters and is a valid hex-encoded address.

**The exported data has fields I don't understand.**

Refer to the Sui documentation for object structure. The 'type' field shows the Move module and struct name, 'version' is the object's transaction version, and 'digest' is its content hash.

### FAQ

| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| What is a Sui owned object? | On Sui, an owned object is an on-chain asset that belongs to a specific address, such as a coin, NFT, or custom Move struct. This Actor returns every object where the owner field matches the address you provide. |
| Do I need to run my own Sui fullnode? | No. The Actor connects to public Sui fullnode endpoints. You only need to provide the address you want to query. |
| Can I scrape objects from Sui testnet? | Yes. The Actor works with any valid Sui address on mainnet, testnet, or devnet. The fullnode endpoint determines which network you query. |
| How many objects can I scrape in one run? | Free users are limited to 10 objects as a preview. Paid Apify users can set a maximum of up to 1,000,000 objects per run. |
| What data does each object row contain? | Each row includes the object type, version, digest, and owner metadata. The exact fields are shown in the sample output on the Actor's page. |
| Does this Actor handle pagination automatically? | Yes. The Actor paginates through the fullnode responses until it reaches your maxItems limit or there are no more objects to return. |
| Can I filter by object type? | The Actor returns all owned objects for the address. If you need only specific types, you can filter the exported dataset in your own tooling. |
| Is this faster than using the Sui SDK? | It eliminates the need to write and maintain your own client, pagination, and parsing code. The Actor runs on Apify's infrastructure, so you can schedule it and forget it. |
| What export formats are supported? | You can export your dataset as CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML from the Apify console or via API. |
| Does this work for shared or immutable objects? | This Actor specifically returns owned objects, where the owner is a single address. Shared and immutable objects have different ownership models and are not included. |
