## Yahoo Finance Options Chain Scraper

Extract current public call and put tables from Yahoo Finance for one or many ticker symbols. Records use stable IDs and numeric prices, liquidity, and volatility values; they also include the underlying quote, expiration, moneyness, URLs, and extraction provenance.

Use `expirationMode` to load the nearest chain, one `expirationDate`, or up to `maxExpirationDates` dates from Yahoo's live expiration selector. Apply strike, volume, open-interest, implied-volatility, option-type, and moneyness filters, then choose a sort. `maxItems` is enforced globally and allocated fairly across symbols; `maxItemsPerSymbol` provides an additional bound.

Run locally with `apify run --purge --input-file INPUT.json`. An optional proxy can be enabled with `proxyConfiguration`. The Actor does not enable a proxy implicitly, solve CAPTCHAs, or publish partial data after a request failure. A legitimate symbol with no option contracts completes with an empty dataset.

Yahoo currently exposes option contracts in server-rendered tables rather than a reliable public structured response, so this Actor uses validated DOM fields. Images, media, and fonts are skipped to reduce runtime without removing table or network data.
