## Pricing

from $1.20 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

## FirstCry Scraper

> **Thirdwatch portfolio:** 5K users across 88 public Actors, 2M+ records delivered, and >99% run success. [Explore all Thirdwatch Actors](https://apify.com/thirdwatch).

Scrape baby, kids, and maternity products from FirstCry search and category pages. Pure HTTP — no browser, no login, no cookies.

### What it returns (per product)

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `sku` / `product_id` | FirstCry product ID |
| `product_name` | Full product title |
| `brand` | Brand name |
| `price` | Current selling price (INR) |
| `original_price` | MRP / strike-through price (INR) |
| `discount_percent` | Percentage discount off MRP |
| `currency` | `"INR"` |
| `rating` | Customer rating (0–5) |
| `rating_count` | Number of ratings |
| `image_url` | Primary product image (https) |
| `url` | Canonical product URL on firstcry.com |
| `category` | FirstCry category path |
| `in_stock` | Boolean availability flag |
| `source_query` | Echo of the query / category that produced this record |

### Input

```json
{
  "queries": ["baby bag", "diapers"],
  "category": "diapers",
  "sortBy": "popularity",
  "maxResults": 50
}
```

`queries` is free-text search terms that map to `https://www.firstcry.com/search?searchstring={query}`. `category` is one of `baby-toys`, `baby-clothing`, `baby-care`, `diapers`, `baby-feeding`, `baby-skincare`, `baby-gear-strollers`, `kids-clothing`, `kids-footwear`, `kids-toys`, `school-supplies`, `bath-skincare`, `health-safety`, `feeding`, `mom-care`, `gifts`. Combine with `subcategorySlug` for deeper paths.

### How it works

Fetches FirstCry's server-rendered search/category pages and parses each `.list_block` product card for title, prices, discount, rating, and product link. The `?searchstring=` URL parameter is mandatory — the older `?q=` form 301-redirects and breaks pagination.

### Pricing

Pay-per-result with tiered pricing. See the Apify Store listing for current rates.

# Actor input Schema

## `queries` (type: `array`):

FirstCry search terms (e.g. "baby bag", "diapers"). Optional if you set a Category — leave empty to browse a category instead. Maps to https://www.firstcry.com/search?searchstring={query}.

## `category` (type: `string`):

Top-level FirstCry category to browse or search within. Leave as 'All' to search everything. Combine with Subcategory Slug for deeper paths.

## `subcategorySlug` (type: `string`):

Optional deeper filter. Free-text words appended to the searchstring (e.g. 'organic cotton', 'newborn').

## `sortBy` (type: `string`):

How to order results. FirstCry listing pages do not sort by rating directly.

## `minPrice` (type: `integer`):

Minimum price in INR. Leave empty for no lower bound.

## `maxPrice` (type: `integer`):

Maximum price in INR. Leave empty for no upper bound.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Maximum products to scrape per query.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Proxy settings. Default RESIDENTIAL India recommended.
