## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

## Avis Vérifiés Certified Reviews Scraper — France's #1 Review Platform

Scrape **certified customer reviews from Avis Vérifiés** (SKEEPERS group) — France's leading verified review platform with 26 million+ certified reviews across 6,000+ brands. Extract star ratings, review text, reviewer name, date, verified status, and merchant responses. Exports to JSON, CSV, or Excel.

**This is the only Avis Vérifiés scraper on Apify.**

***

### Why Avis Vérifiés?

Avis Vérifiés is the dominant certified review platform in France. Unlike Google or Trustpilot reviews, every Avis Vérifiés review is verified against a real purchase — making the data higher quality for market research and sentiment analysis.

Top French e-commerce brands (Amazon.fr, Cdiscount, Fnac, La Redoute, Darty, Boulanger) display their Avis Vérifiés score prominently. For any competitive analysis in the French market, this data is essential.

### Use cases

**Competitive intelligence (France)** — Compare your Avis Vérifiés score against direct competitors in the French market. Identify service gaps from what customers praise in competitor reviews.

**Sentiment analysis** — Analyze thousands of verified reviews to extract recurring themes, complaints, and praise points. Feed into LLMs or NLP classifiers for structured insights.

**Market entry research** — Before entering the French e-commerce market, understand customer satisfaction levels and common friction points for existing players in your category.

### How to find a merchant's domain

1. Go to [fr.avis-verifies.com/annuaire/](https://fr.avis-verifies.com/annuaire/)
2. Browse by category or search for the brand name
3. Click the brand to open their review page
4. The domain is visible in the URL: `https://www.avis-verifies.com/avis-clients/`**`amazon.fr`**

#### Popular domains to get you started

```
amazon.fr · cdiscount.com · fnac.com · darty.com · boulanger.com
la-redoute.fr · leroy-merlin.fr · decathlon.fr · sncf.com · ldlc.com
```

***

### Limitations

- **French market focus** — Avis Vérifiés covers primarily French merchants and French-speaking markets. For international certified reviews, use [Trustpilot](https://apify.com/store?search=trustpilot)
- **20 reviews per page** — high review counts require `maxReviewsPerMerchant` set accordingly and longer run times
- **Recent reviews only** — Avis Vérifiés shows the most recent reviews by default; very old reviews may not be accessible
- **Domain required** — you need the merchant's exact domain as registered on Avis Vérifiés (use the annuaire to look it up)

### Support
