Genshin Impact is truly stunning, from the graphics to the gameplay. The map is absolutely huge and you get lots of time to explore it and every part of it. Domains and bosses are all very challenging so that it’s not super easy and you don’t fly through the game. Every character has their own skill and burst (a special skill that has to be charged, for those that are not familiar with it) and so they are not just for show. Getting your ranks up is very slow but the rewards for them are pretty good once you get them up high! Now for the bad thing, which kind of ruins it for me.. :( Genshin Impact, when I try to teleport or am fighting, crashes sometimes. It doesn’t matter what I'm fighting or where I’m teleporting, I can crash any time. It’s especially annoying when I’m doing challenges, like bosses or the Spiral Abyss, or even commissions, because my progress on them sometimes resets! It makes me do it all again :( and it also lags a lot which makes it very hard to play. Please fix this! Otherwise this game is great, i would definitely recommend it!Update: Since the new update the game crashes quite a bot less and also lag is minimal. I bumped it up to 4 stars because Inazuma, especially Watatsumi Island, is just beautiful. I love spectres, I love the Signora fight, I just love the whole new update! It’s brilliant and I hope that in the next big update lag and crashes will be minimal! Beautiful game, and made so much better by 2.0. Congratulations MiHoYo and happy 1st birthday Genshin!

As someone who has been playing it almost daily for nearly 2 years now, the game keeps surprising me every update. The graphics, the music, the characters, the puzzles and overall gameplay is unparalleled right now. The end game does get repetitive. However endgame in my opinion means that you've explored the MASSIVE (i can't emphasise this enough) world entirely. There is always something to do in the game, unless you're an old old player like me who is up to date with the recent version. As a new player i guarantee you'll have hundreds of hours of free gameplay ahead of you, the vast majority of which is incredibly high quality. Yes it's a gacha game. I've experienced both the highs and lows of this- incredible luck and incredibly bad luck. That's the nature of a gacha game. However in my opinion, whatever anyone says, practically NO parts of the game are locked behind a pay wall. The only part is getting all the characters you want, however it is possible to simply save and strategise and not pay a penny. I personally think paying £5 a month is worth it, especially for the content we receive for free. I also play on a pc which is a perfect experience (i recommend using a controller) . Playing before on my iphone 11 worked just as smoothly with beautiful graphics. This however will of course depend on your device. Anyway. Please try the game. The storage it requires is intimidating but what awaits you is a masterfully and professionally crafted game.

I’ve been playing genshin impact since may 2021, and I’m now ar53. I’ve been playing on mobile as I find it difficult to use pc, and enjoy the game very much, however, the game crashes every 10-15 minutes and it’s NOT fun. It feels like a chore to have to log in again, and again, when all I want to do is my daily commissions before I log off for the evening. Along with the game-crash problem, the graphics are usually ok, but can lag and take time to load, which is honestly such a pain. Both of these are a problem especially when playing with other people as I then have to explain that my game crashed for the 10th time.Another problem for me is that, as a f2p player, it is difficult and tedious work to finally get a character maxed out. It can take literal MONTHS. It takes even longer as a f2p player to even get a 5 star character as we have to save up for so long, and as the game rewards have decreased since the start of the game, especially when the anniversary rewards were so small (and honestly a bit disappointing). I love this game very much, and will continue playing because I still find it really fun despite all these setbacks, it is a bit addictive and still incredibly fun for me and I cant help that, but I know like all the other ar50+ players, I will become bored if there aren’t any important changes in the game.
Great game but keeps crashing

The game is great but it is always crashing. The crashing started over a week ago and I’m not sure why. I always check my internet and it’s completely fine so it’s probably the game. I can’t even play it anymore because it crashes when I go in my world. It’s getting really annoying now and I really wanna play Genshin Impact. If possible please fix this miHoYo. 2 days later: It just crashes when it shows the elements loading. I can’t even play it. Please, fix this. 6 days later: When it’s on the loading page it just stays halfway through the geo symbol, it doesn’t crashes it just doesn’t loads. 2 days later: It just crashes on the loading page when it shows all the elements symbol. 1 and a half weeks later: It works now but it lags but at least I can play it. (It crashes sometimes though and sometimes it doesn’t lag too bad) 4 days later: It crashes when I try type something, like a name of a pin in my map, when I try say hello to my friends (fortunately I have friends) and other things like that. 2 days later: same problem from the beginning. I’m getting a bit sick of it. 4 days later: it only loads to the image of the elemental symbols then immediately crashes. 1 week later: it only crashes a little bit but I can actually play it I’m quite happy :D 1 day later: it keeps crashing during my battles and I was doing the blossom revelation and I was on the last enemy and it crashed, I’m actually so upset and annoyed because I was so close, it also kept lagging.
