Feature Request: Add Persistent, Action-Based Notifications for Reminders (ADHD Use Case)⸻Message:Dear Apple Team,I’m writing to request a feature enhancement for the Apple Reminders app that would be incredibly helpful to users like me who live with ADHD and face daily challenges with memory, time-blindness, and task initiation.⸻🔔 Feature Request: Persistent, Non-Dismissible Notifications for Reminders⸻What I’m Requesting:1.Persistent Lock Screen / Banner Notification•The reminder stays permanently visible on the lock screen and in the notification center.•It cannot be swiped away or dismissed until the task is either:•Marked as completed, or•Deleted manually within the Reminders app.2.Customizable Repeating Alerts•Users can define a frequency (e.g., every 15, 30, or 60 minutes) to repeat a sound, vibration, or notification until the task is completed.3.A Toggle for “Persistent” or “Nag Mode”•A simple switch when creating a reminder to turn on this persistent mode — ideally alongside existing options like time, priority, and location.⸻Why It Matters (ADHD Use Case):As someone with ADHD, it’s easy to miss or accidentally dismiss notifications. Once they disappear, the task is often completely forgotten.Gentle or one-time reminders are simply not effective for users like me.This feature would act as a strong external cue — something that remains in front of me until I complete the task. It would greatly support my productivity, independence, and mental clarity.⸻I believe this would also benefit many users beyond ADHD — including those managing caregiving tasks, medication schedules, or urgent work obligations.Thank you for continuing to create thoughtful, accessible tools. I hope this idea can be considered for a future iOS update.
