I've had a blast this week playing this game - it's a simillar trait to collectible based games, the first time experience is super fun and the game feeds you enough rewards for a while that enable you to keep coming back, but unfortunately I've reached the point where I need to invest serious money in order to keep going. The 'battle pass' option does not feel like a good bang for your buck transaction - it offers a single pack per day, plus access to a premium shop that offers you cosmetic products for battles - and that's unfortunately a road that I wouldn't want to cross to either, especially if the next layer solely depended on monthly payments to give you the same feeling.It's saddening because mobile video games have ultimately chosen to prey on people with addiction problems in order to keep their investments alive. Instead of going for products that offer you a continuous stream of content for a fair fixed price, it lets its mask drop and haunts you with bundle choices that culminate in hundreds of euros of investment in exchange of short term dopamine releases - gambling, in other words.

Great game, short matches, building decks is super fun, and getting cards is super addicting and it really makes you feel like you are part of this pokemon community, however, theres so much stuff that needs work, for example:MATCHES SEEM POINTLESS: Like why would i play a match that i already know jm going to lose, AND WHEN I LOSE, i get absolutly nothing NOT EVEN XP, and when i win all i get is XP? What is this concept???? So i can lose my time leveling up to get 12 hourglasses to open a pack?SHOP IS USELESS: like all you can buy is some cards, wich they are great and necessary for decks, but like come on!!! You have limited access of hourglasses you can buy???? Are we serious here? PREMIUM PASS IS DOG****: yeah, i pay for mostly cosmectics for 9 per month, who even cares that much about stupid cosmectics when this game is all about collecting cards and building fun decks Balancing issues: this for me is normal, and not much of a problem, but theres clearly decks in the meta with no absolute counterplay that legit just makes you want to quit the game as soon as you load up a match, because again, you get NOTHING for losingFINAL POINTS: please either add more missions that requires a player to build more decks and play them to get currency, AND update this useless shop so we can buy more hourglasses, stop making this game so pay to win, of you want money, Make a better battlepass for 4 per month and you would have 50% more people buying it, for god sake is not diffocult to see the problem in your game, act fast before you ruin everything
