It has made life so much easier. In the decade I’ve spent reading manga and manhua, I’ve often turned to reading raws in their original language, even if I couldn’t understand everything being said. There was always a mix of guessing and intuition. Otherwise, I had to endure the tedious process of translating each speech bubble manually using machine translation, which—without the context of the entire scene—often produced questionable or entirely incorrect translations.
