This album had monumental shoes to fill, being the first album without Trevor, and it filled them pretty well. While I think most of Black Dahlia's discography is better than this, it's quite the beefy album. Brian did a great job taking up the vocal mantle.

An absolutely filthy return to form, after two beautiful but significantly softer albums. Despite being an unrelenting experience, some of the pretty melodic elements that were toyed around with in Hickory Creek and Kin were sprinkled in to add a lot of very welcome diversity.
