I think the problem is that it says “may.” Many thing may lead to sterilization that aren’t intended to or common. It’s weasal language. It looks not particularly bad, but it can be used to extend far further than the obvious.
It doesn’t cool down faster. That makes no sense.

They’re going to have to take it to court and provide evidence. Trust is what you give to someone without the need for evidence. If they can prove it, then sure I’ll believe it. I’m not just going to trust that they’re correct without that though.
Here’s the thing: landlords make a profit, right? Where does that profit come from? There are better and worse landlords, but any time there’s a profit there’s money being taken away from people.
No one is coming after your aunt, but that’s where it comes from. They’re leaching money away from tenants. Some are worse than others, but it is by definition parasitic if you’re making a profit and not providing a service.

To be fair, people were posting actors who look like the very shitty pictures we have of the guy too, and I buy some of them. Honestly, the picture we have looks more like Timothée Chalamet than this guy. I’m not saying it isn’t this guy, or it is Chalamet, but there’s a shit ton of people in this world, and a lot look like the shooter.
Edit to add: I’ll never trust the word of the authorities. They have to prove that this is the man. It’s their duty, not ours.
Huh. I might be totally wrong. I thought they could but I’m not really that knowledgeable on that.

The reason why this would work is because it makes it appear as though you may get lawyers involved. Yeah, they don’t want to pay out claims, but they also don’t want to get sued and lose. This is an intimidation check to make them either back down and pay out or risk potentially going to court with someone who appears to know what’s up. They’d rather just pay the bill at that point, at least as long as this doesn’t become common.

It’s rung-by-rung, but the people in front of you are pulling it up behind them.

From what I know of Jesus, that honestly might be what he’d do.
Seeing how both us and birds can vomit, probably. I imagine that developed very early. If you eat something harmful, you’re dead if you can’t vomit. If you don’t have the brainpower to identify safe and harmful things, you’re pretty screwed.

Why don’t you condone it? Justice is good, right? Do you believe justice would be done through the justice system, which the ultra-wealthy have perverted to protect them? If not, how do you want justice to be served?
The justice system exists to give people a method to see justice done that doesn’t require vigilantism. When that system no longer works, what option is left to turn to? Should we just let them get away with whatever they want just because they’ve purchased the system?

I hope you haven’t…

There’s a lot of people getting on and off a bus at any given time. They also probably didn’t know he used a bus until later. They probably used CCTV cameras to track where he went, but they’d have to do that individually after they found out what happened. He was probably well out of the city before they knew. There’s really nothing they could do except maybe lock the whole city down while they search, but that’s not going to happen.

I meant after they destroy it and democrats, or whoever, take back power. Obviously Republicans aren’t going to replace it with anything good.

Yeah, the only good thing about Trump possibly destroying the ACA is that I may provide the impetus to replace it with something better. I somewhat doubt that, but there’s a chance, especially if we start seeing a lot more hate towards health insurance companies.
Personally, if I were in the position, I’d say something like: “It is a tragedy that a murder happened. No one should ever feel like murder is the only chance at justice.” Maybe expand on it a bit and add a link to a bill proposed to either fix the justice system to not favor the rich, a bill that forces health insurance companies to do a better job and not be as greedy, or, even better, a bill that provides Medicare for all.

Sadly, we don’t live in a fair rule-of-law state in the US, so if they go to trial that’s probably not how this will go. If the justice system were fair the assassin never would have needed to do what he did in the first place. Until the justice system is repaired, I don’t think this person should face a trial. It wouldn’t be fair.
The fact that multiple people sent you links for learning more proves it’s you who can’t understand it.
