Mr Nathan Awad
Chartered PhysiotherapistDid you know that our fantastic physio Nathan has 2 degrees! One of them being a Masters in Physiotherapy!
Nathan completed a BSc in Strength Conditioning, Rehab and Massage in 2022 before completing a Masters in Physiotherapy from Cardiff University in 2025.
He has a strong foundation in rehabilitation and community health. In the Swansea Health Board, he pioneered a multidisciplinary pediatric weight management team, developing and delivering youth and parent-focused community programs.
Nathan's passion for supporting his community and equipping patient's with knowledge and confidence to take ownership of their rehab journey has now led him to Back2Front Physiotherapy.

Mr Chris Watts
Chartered PhysiotherapistChris is the founder of Back2Front Physiotherapy. He graduated with a Bsc (Hons) Physiotherapy from Southampton in 2010 and set up Back2front Physiotherapy in 2012.
What started as a small room at a local gym has since grown into a multidisciplinary practice enveloping Chris' approach to rehabilitation and fitness. He believes in listening to the needs of his patients and creating rehabilitation programmes and services in order to help his patients achieve their goals.
Chris has previously worked within semi-professional rugby for 6 years with Pontypridd RFC and has a vast experience with treating many sporting injuries.
He has previously completed Ironman Wales in 2019 and has been known to be seen on a golf course, in amongst looking after his 3 children.

Miss Lauren Davies
Massage TherapistLauren qualified in Sports Conditioning, Rehabilitation and Massage from Cardiff Metropolitan University in 2021. She is a Level 5 qualified Massage Therapist and feels massage therapy is a key component to rehabilitation and relaxation following her previous experience with back injuries.
Lauren is passionate about offering massage services across a diverse population, with experiences ranging from sporting athletes to individuals experiencing day to day tensions as-well as being a support for those transitioning through their rehabilitation process.
Lauren is a keen hockey player and currently plays for Rhondda Ladies.

Miss Ffion Hansford
Sports TherapistFfion qualified as a Sports Therapist in 2024 from the University of South Wales. She has a keen interest in lower limb sporting injuries and helping them get back to full fitness as quick as possible.
Ffion is a level 4 qualified massage therapist and gym instructor. She has extensive experience with various sports teams including WRU Womens U18 and Mens U19. She has also worked as the pitchside first aider at Aberdare Town Women FC.

Mr Cameron Lock
Health and Strength CoachMy journey in the fitness industry began 5 years ago when qualifying as a fitness instructor with a passion for sport related fitness, strength and hypertrophy training.
More recently I have gained my level 3 personal training qualification and my exercise referral qualification. I currently work with all ages and abilities within the fitness industry and have recently been leading exercise rehab and balance sessions.
My goal now is to provide a more personal service for anyone at any level of experience looking to better themselves in anyway relating to sport, fitness or rehabilitation
