  1. The Long Way Round
    by Nuno Lopes
    mother(cover) // 2016 rapper arc mother(cover) // 2016 rapper arc
For a record containing a couple of covers, this is an album of startling originality. It also jumps all sorts of emotions from happy to sad, and varies it's moods from funny to serious. Some interesting hiphop well worth your time.
  2. Inklings
    by HOUSE Of ALL
My Throbbing Heart Shall Rock Thee My Throbbing Heart Shall Rock Thee
Ripping good stuff from HOUSE Of ALL. Maintaining respect for their origins out of The Mighty Fall, but nevertheless continuing to forge an awesome reputation in their own right. This is their fourth album, with each one keeping up their very high standards. The bonus CD & Digital releases include some excellent tracks, in particular a fine cover of John Cale's superlative "You Know More Than I Know".
  3. Curanderias O-OO2
    by Micaela Tobin
To The People Who Are No Longer With Us To The People Who Are No Longer With Us
Essentially presented as voice soundscapes representing various aspects of life, existence, the earth, spirituality and more. It's hard to imagine any other artist operating in Micaela's inimitable realm.
  4. Through This Fire feat. Micaela Tobin
    by Anna Luisa
Very interesting indeed with a long track augmented by some sensational vocals as the piece progresses. Typically magnificent.
  5. BAKUNAWA: BURN
by WHITE BOY SCREAM X BASECK
Not so much a revisitation as an apocalypse. The extraordinary Micaela Tobin in her White Boy Scream guise performs a partial exorcism on the stunning Bakunawa album. Almost beyond belief.
  6. Excerpt 06 [Bonus]
    by Irmin Schmidt
A bonus track from the legendary co-founder and only surviving member of the mighty German group Can. It tops off his superb new album nicely.
  7. THE MISSION

ANNA WE MISS YOU. ANNA WE MISS YOU.
This album's a cracker. Full of social observation with a gentle mix of humour.and some nice tunes. Fabulous record.
  8. Mercy
by Armand Hammer & The Alchemist
Glue Traps (feat. Quelle Chris) Glue Traps (feat. Quelle Chris)
I've come to the realisation that billy woods couldn't make a bad record if 1. A gun was pointed at his head demanding that he make a shocker, 2. If his mother told him to make a terrible one and 3. Even if his brain was removed. As usual, Mercy is a beauty. Fantastic.
  9. Eroica II: Christian Nihilism
    by Chino Amobi
    Legend Legend
Yet another staggering achievement from Chino Amobi, who, against all the odds, has managed to at least equal the greatness of his monumental album "Paradiso" from 2017. It's just crazy how good this record actually is.
  10. Mirrorshades pt. 1

Fantastic group of bonuses from a 2025 musical highlight.
  11. Hard-Eyes

    Volavérunt Volavérunt
An album full of immense fascination and originality, a description applicable to everything I've heard from her.
  15. 4 Women No Cry Vol. 3
by The Sound Of Lucrecia / Manekinekod / Julia Holter / Liz Christine
    Answering Machine Answering Machine
Didn't know about this series, but having Lucrecia Dalt and Julia Holter on the same record was too much to resist. The other girls are pretty good too.
  16. Ou
    by Lucrecia Dalt
Magnificent stuff as I add to my collection of this intriguing artist.

Lucrecia Dalt - In the forest, transition between day and night. Lucrecia Dalt - In the forest, transition between day and night.
Unique describes it perfectly. The sounds have been beautifully collected and are so tranquil and relaxing. The reality is gorgeous, especially Lucrecia's 10 hour bonus recording of the night. It truly is something to behold and treasure.
  18. "caes (ft. Camille Mandoki) (Nick León Dub)" (Digital Only Bonus Track)
    by Lucrecia Dalt
Bandcamp have provided this exclusive track on the end of Lucrecia's phenomenal new album "A Danger To Ourselves". It's great, fits in well, and serves as a splendid closing piece.
  19. Long Island
    by YCO Cru
YCO Cru's contribution to an EP from 2020. It accompanies and includes music by aya and BFTT and is both beatcentric and well worth checking out.
  20. Heat Death
    by aya
So far "hexed!" is shaping as my Album Of The Year, and this is one of it's best selections.
