I credit my friend with "lending" me his copy, for granting me an experience I'd never forget. To sit down and listen to all these songs back to back, it was the first time I'd listened to an artist's album and not just scattered songs.
I think this album genuinely changed my taste in music, to say nothing of how to listen to it. Ninth Wave is mystical, it's unique, it's mellow yet it's intense. Ninth Wave is, and now thanks to it, I am too.
