Gao has repeatedly demonstrated an exceptional capacity for unique and skillful music production. Although more maximalist and melodic than its predecessor, OBAA, ATMFOB retains the arsonist’s grimy identity and rough-but-epic composition and lyrics.
To glaze this artist further might be redundant but I will say this much:
I sludged myself for the 14th time when I finally finished the album.
