A Look Back At 2023

From the early days, offering support to survivors and families, we've evolved into a global force, breaking down barriers, spreading awareness, and lifting each other up. It's been a wild ride, and every one of you has been a vital part of it.

Before we dive into the future, let me take a moment to express my deep gratitude. Your unwavering support, your stories, and the strength you've shared have shaped Cervivor into the vibrant community it is today. We are here because of you.

Celebrating some 2023 moments:

  • Cervivor School: It has become a powerhouse of education and empowerment. We're not just raising awareness; we're making a genuine impact on lives. The 2023 Cervivor School in Seattle was one of the largest attended yet, and we can’t wait until the next school in 2024.

  • World Cancer Leaders’ Summit Participation: In October, I had the privilege of representing Cervivor at the World Cancer Leaders' Summit hosted twice annually by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC). This event unites leaders, policymakers, doctors, researchers, and patients worldwide. Our participation underscores the significance of patient voices in the global cancer dialogue. It's events like these that shape policies, foster collaborations, and amplify the impact of our advocacy.

A sneak peek into 2024:

  • Cervical Cancer Awareness Month: January will be buzzing with activities. Engage, share, and let's make Cervical Cancer Awareness Month in 2024 the most impactful yet.

  • Upcoming Cervical Cancer Summit in NYC: Save the date for our summit at the end of January in the city that never sleeps. It's going to be a celebration, a gathering, and a powerhouse of inspiration.

A special ask as we close 2023:

To keep the momentum going, I humbly ask for your continued support. As we turn 19 next month, consider donating $19 or whatever feels right to you (feel free to round it up to $20!). Your generosity fuels our community, and every bit counts.

Donate Today!

Here's to the excitement of what's to come and the incredible community that is Cervivor!

Warm wishes,

Tamika Felder
