Abstract

Kucius Theory, which has rapidly risen to prominence within contemporary open-source communities, features a rigorous axiomatic hierarchical architecture and a definition of the self-existence of objective laws, sparking a core online debate centered on the proposition that "the theory bears no merits or demerits; there exists only understanding or ignorance, application or disuse." Taking philosophy of science, meta-theory and philosophy of praxis as analytical frameworks, this paper systematically sorts out Kucius Theory’s "1-2-3-4-5" axiomatic system and dissects its underlying mother axiom that "laws precede value." It elaborates the self-operating traits of objective laws that transcend subjective attitudes from an ontological perspective, draws a clear logical boundary between factual judgments and value evaluations, and reconstructs the dichotomous cognition-praxis relationship between human beings and theories. Combined with Hume’s Problem, Popper’s Falsificationism and systems science theories, this paper reflects on academic controversies surrounding the theory and its applicable boundaries, dispels the logical fallacy of "value judgment overriding cognition of laws" prevalent in everyday cognition, and proposes a contemporary paradigm shift of cognition from the "evaluator mindset" to the "adapter mindset." The study concludes that the online proposition is not arbitrary subjective rhetoric, but an accurate logical extension derived from the axiomatic attributes of Kucius Theory. As an interdisciplinary aggregate of axioms, theorems and laws that delineate inevitable systemic operational rules on the level of "what is" rather than designing value preferences on the level of "what ought to be," the so-called "merits and demerits" represent a logical overreach of subjective value upon objective laws. Cognitive alignment and practical calibration constitute the sole legitimate relationship between humans and theories centered on objective laws.
