When Ω_0 < 1, E is positive, the spatial curvature is negative (open universe), and the universe expands hyperbolically. The special case of Ω = 1, or E = 0, corresponds to parabolic expansion and flat spatial geometry (flat universe).
我算出來 a(t) 跟 t 的關係並不是雙曲（開放宇宙）或者拋物（平直宇宙）的。對於後者，a 正比於 t^{2/3}；對於前者，t(a) 作爲 a 的函數，含有正比於 ArcSinh(√a) 的項，而反函數 a(t) 是超越的。
我想作者可能混淆了這裏跟愛因斯坦引力中 Friedmann 宇宙充滿輻射時的解（1.3.4），在那裏確實是算出來 a(t) 與 t 在負、零、正曲率時分別具有雙曲、拋物、跟橢圓的關係。
