这本书是按照时间顺序组合而成的短片小说集，里面有几个故事我之前在布拉德伯里的短片自选集里看到过，这次的关注点就更多的在文字上了。说到这里，不知道是不是我理解的问题，中文翻译版里好像有些错误的地方。 道格在十二岁的那年夏天开始思考死亡。这个夏天，他和镇子里的人一起经历了很多故事。从初夏道格和弟弟帮外公采蒲公英，到夏天结束的时候蒲公英酒酿造完成，这一条线串起了这个夏天。从今往后，道格一家人会在品尝蒲公英酒的时候怀念这个夏天，我也会在偶尔翻起这本书的时候回忆起这个在学校度过的暑假。 夏日一梦啊。

不像故事也不像散文，似有聯繫但又好像是短篇。感覺太奇怪了。但很多篇味道不錯，雖然有些在作者短篇集看過，但總體而言不錯。作者是好玩的人。
