种族隔离制度是全书所有故事的叙事线索,不管是小崔自己的混血出身,在学校交朋友,谈恋爱,去街区上倒买倒卖赚钱,在看守所里选择坐在哪个人堆里,重新寻找父亲……这种制度的影响无处不在。在这种背景下坎坷长大的南非有色人种男性,居然在美国文化类节目里达到事业高峰,真是奇迹。不知道他在美国这半截故事里怎么重新看自己。

听的英文版电子书,一边跑步一边笑的像个傻子。南非的种族隔离之前只有耳闻,能看到亲历者以这么亲民的视角笑着讲自己的人生也是蛮敬佩的。
