I think Death Note is the most recommended entry point because it’s not too long, the plot isn’t hard to follow, and it happens in a “realistic” world.

Mine was a jump from 95 to XP, then 7.

I’m anxious of it getting lost when it’s not in my possession, not necessarily because I feel trapped when I don’t have it. I’m paranoid of it getting lost in the mail, either the old one being sent out or the new being sent to me.
Yeah aside from money, a lot of people forget about passport privilege.
I think that works. Since the playoff games are one after another and don’t happen at the same time, the daily game thread won’t be cluttered.
I don’t think there will be a lot of discussion on the play-in, so one thread for the entire tournament should work. Maybe just post a reminder the next day that points to the original thread, so it shows up on people’s feeds. I admit I haven’t been able to participate as much on game threads because I simply just forget as it doesn’t show up on my feed.

On the next layoff, it will be the AI Zuck that will be delivering the news to you when you log on in the morning.
Damn, OP is young and respects the OGs.

The 10k cap is not a limit of what you can bring in. You can bring in more as long as you declare it. Obviously you’ll be questioned and probably be investigated, but if the money is clean and legal, you’ll probably just have to pay taxes on it.

It doesn’t matter because the companies are mandating their workforce to use it regardless if you like it or not. For personal use, yes interest may be waning, but wanting to use AI is not a factor when you are being forced to use it at work.

The latest Dune movies. Weapons IMO was as good as it was hyped up.

Couldn’t take the youtube ads anymore. /s

I was gonna say this as well. The average is $50k but no one is forcing you to buy the average priced car. The low cost end of that range is still under $30k (for now). You can still get a reliable Toyota/Honda/Subaru/Mazda sedan or compact SUV with that. What’s actually already disappearing are the under $20k cars. My Kia Soul back in 2020 was just $19k.
I work from home now and only visit the office (voluntarily) once a week to socialize. I’m so exhausted when I get home. I sometimes wonder how I managed to do that five times a week commuting more than an hour each way and still do extracurricular activities after work for 10+ years when I was younger.
Brewed? Black or with a little stevia. Instant? Always with milk/creamer and a little stevia.
Do those things actually work? I’m prone to static shocks in the winter and at the office (for some reason), but I don’t want to spend $25 on a wristband that doesn’t work.

Make a list of countries that speak English or at least allow you to get by with speaking only English. Then look up their work visa categories and see if your skills fall into any of those categories. Once you narrow that down further, check if they allow working holiday visas, where you can fly in for a limited amount of time to look for a job. If there’s no such option, you’ll have to remotely apply for a job that is willing to sponsor your work visa so you can move there. You can also do try countries with digital nomad visas, but that’s temporary and you’ll have to leave and go back every couple of weeks/months or so.
Another option is a student visa, if you are willing to go back to school and can afford the tuition.
Those are pretty much your only options aside from marriage or asylum.

Possible regional pricing based on CoL and purchasing power in those countries. People in countries that have lower purchasing power won’t be able to afford those games if everything was priced universally in the USD equivalent.

One of my favorite cities to visit. Really beautiful.
Maybe I was just hungry at the time, but I was so amazed at the complimentary bread on my first visit at a Cheesecake Factory. I haven’t gone since but I’m curious to know if my opinion stands if I ever go back.
