PULSATING NEBULA still is my fav, as each note is picometer precision, resonates like sound in a water filed cavern.

After 12 years Escape Velocity is probably the most popular Dynatron album to date and it still holds up. However, the production on some tracks could be better and the album generally suffers from quite high compression. The compression was addressed on the 2016 master for vinyl, but some of the energy was lost. I wanted to remaster this album and make it sound as good as I believe it can. This included restoring old sessions and reviving an old laptop to be able to remix a few of the tracks to perform the master it deserves!

The Fireburner remix by Thomas Barrandon is the first and only remix I've commissioned. I love what Thomas did with the track, it just sounds amazing!

Bonus track Soft Sleeper was written within the first year after Escape Velocity was released in 2012. It has a bit of the same production sound as the album and it’s trying to convey that relaxed and calm feeling as your body is about to fall asleep.

The last bonus track Ethereal was written just around the release of Escape Velocity. It could potentially have been on the Flashbacks EP but I didn’t feel the composition nor the production was up to par with the other tracks.

A cohesive and well-paced album full of outstanding tracks; the tracks each have an identity, but you're not jarred from one to the next when listening as a complete album. Sunset is my favorite, The Deep and Stitch are close seconds, and never skip the intro if you want to listen to Robeast, the suspense makes the takeoff on the track that much better xTangero
