MiniCasino
A small casino game with card accounts, a browser admin panel and a 3D model that runs on the real game logic.
Status: Released
A school project from vocational training (learning field 7), built together with Nikita Lupalo. You tap a card on the reader, pick black, red or green and watch three lights spin. The hardware is only the stage; most of the work is in the software around it.
What the software does
- Accounts per card: new cards start with 100 points, up to 31 accounts live in the EEPROM, each stored twice and protected by a checksum (CRC).
- Game rules as their own tested part: stake, odds and payouts are checked at compile time.
- An admin panel in Python that runs in the browser: view and edit balances, ban cards or turn one into an admin card.
- A simulation, so you can play and test without any hardware.
- A 3D model of the case in the browser that plays the game with the real game logic and has the admin panel built in.
What I took away
How to separate logic so it can be tested without a device, and how much a good admin tool matters, even when the game itself is small.
