This Friday Fiadh is releasing two tapes from a collaboration with US dungeon synth besties Tree Gardener and Wooden Vessels, who recently launched her new label, Cave Bird Records.
The first is a split between the two, Tales from Misthaven Falls: a comfy trek into the woods to see the elusive kelpie taking a sun nap at the fallsβ base.

From the journal of the Tree Gardener:
It was shortly after Midsummer when I found myself on a holiday of sorts in the region known as Misthaven Falls. This idyllic and emerald landscape is, of course, best known for its stunning namesake: the majestic falls themselves.
The quiet village tucked within the woodland above this natural wonder keeps many a tale of the other, more peculiar inhabitants of the landscape. The two most prominent have, with the help of my dear friend, Aveline, been documented here.
The first is a rather old tale concerning a young woman who strikes an unfortunately misguided deal with one of the many woodsprites of the surrounding forest and the unforeseen consequences both of them face.
And the second pertains to Misthaven's most fabled inhabitant, the kelpie that is said to reside within the enchanted pool at the bottom of the falls. According to the locals, it spends the warmer months in a peaceful slumber.
Despite the slight hints of menace and sorrow in each of these stories - and all tales told throughout the region - I do say, if ever the opportunity presents itself to spend any amount of time in Misthaven Falls, do take it. Its enchantment and tranquility are second to none.
