Our second release for Tolkien Reading Day on March 25: β€˜Tower of the Sun’ by Salt Lake City progressive metal duo Sindar, weaves together gorgeous melodic passages with punishing riffs to create a rich, inspired, dynamic soundscape that improves upon their formula in every way.

Partially inspired by the works of J.R.R. Tolkien, this album takes on themes such as the struggle between light and dark, death, grief, loss of identity, isolation, and even ritual sacrifice, all to the cinematic backdrop of Sindar’s incredible blend of heaviness and melodicism.
