
Kelly Rule
Kelly Rule joined the FOX 29 News team in December 2018 as a general assignment reporter.
Prior to returning to her hometown, Kelly worked briefly at FOX 5 in Washington D.C. Her broadcasting career began as a reporter, fill-in producer and anchor for 47ABC in Salisbury, MD. She then took a job as a general assignment reporter for News 3 in Norfolk, VA; then the CW affiliate in Washington, D.C.
A graduate of West Chester East High School, Kelly was born in West Chester, PA, and grew up watching FOX 29. She holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from the College of Communications at Penn State University. She interned at FOX 29 in the summer of 2011, and set a goal to return to Philadelphia as soon as possible.
Kelly is a loyal Philadelphia sports fan. When she isn’t in the FOX 29 newsroom, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her rescue pup Rhys (name inspired by Rhys Hoskins), trying out new restaurants and exercising outdoors.
