There is a language that exists before words in the weight of colour, the tension of a mark, the moment when chaos and intention find each other. This is the area where my work begins.

I love the layering of memory, observation, and material to build images that resist easy explanation.
A detail from a past conversation or journey. The particular blue-green hue of an azurite crystal once received as a gift.
The fleeting geometry of birds in flight fragmented by light. The song that lives on after the music and melody stops.
Each work is an act of translation, turning sensation into something tangable and recorded

I am drawn to abstraction and pattern not as an escape from the world, but as a deeper way to connect with it. Colour is never arbitrary, it carries emotion, history, cultural resonance and personal meaning. Form is never accidental it is the residue of a decision made intuitively, then refined.
