AsyncAPI Hack & Conf 2021 - Who Decides on Hackathon winners and Conference CfP

We need volunteers to help out with selection of:

• proposals for the conference - who presents
• submissions for hackathon - who wins

If we choose to use TSC members for it, the problem is they cannot support Hackathon-decision making process because some want to take an active part in the event as participants. Another issue is that most members are engineers and we lose the opportunity to ask for opinions of people that do not code but talk to people (as Dev Rel in their companies) or are simply End Users of the spec.

@dalelane sorry but because you submitted for the conference and hackathon, unfortunately, we cannot invite you to a selection process. I also cannot participate because I actively worked with some hackathon participants and I was pushing many conference submitters offline.

Happy to help with the proposal review. I've done this a few times in the past, most recently for API Specifications Conference. I can recommend https://sessionize.com/ for anonymous review if you're looking for a platform. They make it so you can't see who the speaker is during initial selection. Of course, there's always room for changing things after the fact, which can be good to allow for more diverse content and speakers.

Unfortunately I'm off last week of October and first week of November. So I guess somebody with better time options would be more suitable.
