Is this a docs issue?

  • My issue is about the documentation content or website

Type of issue

There's a problem with the website

Description

While browsing https://docs.docker.com/desktop/ I observed that the content column becomes narrower as the browser gets wider, which makes the content unreadable at certain window sizes.

This effect is most pronounced when the viewport width is approximately 1024px (using Firefox / LibreWolf 138.0.4-1 on Windows).

I've attached a video for reference.

2025-05-23.17-28-01.mp4

Location

https://docs.docker.com/desktop/

Suggestion

Since there is plenty of space available at the demonstrated window sizes, I expect that the content will actually use the available space, so I can read it.

Hello @cbednarski. We rolled out an update this morning to the Docs UX that should have fixed this. Thanks for submitting this issue! If you spot anything else, feel free to let us know.
