AsyncAPI Mentorship Program - Call for Mentors!

Hello everyone,

I'm happy to announce that the third edition of the AsyncAPI Mentorship Program is commencing this September, and we're excited to start our search for Mentors!

What is the AsyncAPI mentorship program?

The AsyncAPI Mentorship Program is a 12-week, hands-on initiative where open-source contributors receive a stipend to learn and contribute to the AsyncAPI ecosystem. Top mentors will be guiding participants throughout their journey.

Who can be a mentor?

Mentors play a crucial role in the success of this program, so we ensure that we make the best selection. To be considered for the 3rd edition of the mentorship program, you should meet the following criteria:

• AsyncAPI Maintainer
• Experience contributing to open-source projects.
• Multiple contributions to at least one AsyncAPI repository.
• Availability to dedicate at least 4 hours per week to the designated project.
• Strong communication skills.
• Not currently participating in other AsyncAPI programs such as GSoC, GSoD, or Bounty.
