Bug
I recently upgraded my subscription from Copilot Pro to Copilot Pro+. After the upgrade:
I can select and use Claude Opus (and other Anthropic models) in the "Manage Language Models" menu and in inline chat.
However, Claude Opus does not appear in the model selector in the dedicated Copilot Chat panel.
I have fully signed out/in, cleared all VS Code Copilot caches, deleted chatModelPickerPreferences, and restarted VS Code multiple times.
My subscription at https://github.com/settings/copilot shows "Pro+".
This issue persists across reloads and restarts.
Expected:
Claude Opus should be available in the Chat panel model selector, just as it is in Manage Language Models and inline chat.
Actual:
Claude Opus is missing from the Chat panel selector, but available elsewhere.
Steps tried:
Sign out/in of GitHub and Copilot
Clear all Copilot-related state and cache
Manually reset model preferences
Full VS Code restart
