My second github account is unintentionally listed as a contributor in my repository. I find no trace of contributions made with the wrong credentials in the repo's history. I vaguely remember making commits with the wrong credentials in the past and overwriting the history since, likely with a command like
git commit --amend- which is most certainly the source of the problem.Troubleshooting I have done:
No PR's were ever opened for the repository. No commits had co authors.
Troubleshooting with Gemini lead it to the conclusion of "unreachable ghost commits":
However, I consider it far more likely that I missed something obvious.
