Dear GitHub Copilot Community,
I hope this message finds you well. I'm reaching out to inquire about potential plans for integrating the Model Context Protocol (MCP) with Visual Studio Code to enable the execution of Visual Studio Code commands (from an accessibility point of view).
I know we have a fantastic Command Palette, but occasionally I am struggling to remember a shortcut key or the correct terms to run a command.
Occasionally, I would like to enter natural text and have the AI figure out what I'm talking about.
Similar to the functionality currently available in my Visual Studio Code Extension
I appreciate that Copilot provides this functionality for the terminal pretty well, but it falls short when asking it to run a specific command. having a MCP tool that can run commands would be a game changer.
I appreciate there are security concerns but from an accessibility point of view ease of use is paramount.
