I want my account private. I do not want him to have access to any of my information.

hey @jdgp-hub 👋.

if someone actually got into your account, the first thing to do is lock them out and secure it ... do this before anything else :

• change your password immediately at github.com/settings/security .
• enable two-factor authentication (2FA) if its not already on ,,, this is the most important step.
• go to github.com/settings/sessions and revoke all active sessions except yours.
• check github.com/settings/apps and revoke any OAuth apps or personal access tokens you dont recognise,
• check github.com/settings/keys and remove any SSH keys you didnt add yourself .

once youre back in control, report it to github support directly at github.com/support ,,,,,, select "Account Security" as the topic.they can check login logs and help you figure out how the person got in.

for making your repos private --->>> go to each repo, settings -> danger zone -> change visibility to private. your profile info (username, bio, public repos) will still be visible to anyone on github,thats just how public profiles work, but your code and private activity wont be.

if you cant log in at all right now, use the "forgot password" flow or contact support directly ... community members here cant access your account. hope you get this sorted quickly ❤️❤️❤️
