Release reserved organization name RP-RUM-BackOffice for enterprise realpage

Hello GitHub Support,

I am an enterprise owner for the RealPage enterprise (slug: realpage).

An organization named RP-RUM-Backoffice was created inside our enterprise but was set up incorrectly. I removed it from the enterprise and deleted the organization. The deletion is confirmed:

• https://github.com/organizations/RP-RUM-Backoffice/settings/profile returns 404
• GET /orgs/RP-RUM-Backoffice returns HTTP 404 Not Found

I now need to recreate it with the correct casing, RP-RUM-BackOffice, inside the enterprise. Creating it fails with "Validation failed / name is unavailable" because the deleted name is still reserved (org names are case-insensitive, so RP-RUM-BackOffice collides with the reserved RP-RUM-Backoffice).

Request: Please release the reserved organization name so I can recreate it. The name is not in use anywhere and there is no content to preserve.

• Enterprise: realpage
• Reserved/deleted name: RP-RUM-Backoffice
• Desired name to recreate: RP-RUM-BackOffice
• Confirmation: org deleted, GET /orgs/RP-RUM-Backoffice returns 404

Deleted organization names are typically reserved for a period of time, and only GitHub Support can determine whether the reservation can be released. Since you've already confirmed that the organization has been deleted and the name is still unavailable, your best option is to contact GitHub Support directly with the details you've provided.

Include:

• Your enterprise slug (realpage).
• The deleted organization name (RP-RUM-Backoffice).
• The desired organization name (RP-RUM-BackOffice).
• Confirmation that the organization has been deleted and that GET /orgs/RP-RUM-Backoffice returns 404.

Hopefully, the Support team can confirm whether the reserved name can be released or advise on the next steps.
