Describe the Problem
Elementor currently lacks native support or streamlined integration with GSAP (GreenSock Animation Platform), one of the most powerful JavaScript animation libraries used widely in professional and interactive web design.
As a developer/designer working on high-end and interactive websites, I often need to implement advanced animations and interactions that go beyond what Elementor’s native motion effects offer. Currently, integrating GSAP with Elementor involves adding custom code blocks, enqueueing scripts, or relying on third-party plugins—which adds complexity and limits the scalability and maintainability of projects.
Propose a Solution
It would be incredibly helpful if Elementor could introduce built-in support for GSAP via:
A native GSAP widget/block.
An animation panel or advanced motion interface that integrates GSAP's timeline, scroll triggers, and staggering options.
Seamless GSAP usage inside the custom code widget with UI-level bindings.
Auto-enqueueing of GSAP CDN or local libraries when GSAP features are used.
Additional Context
Other visual builders and tools like Webflow allow designers to achieve powerful motion effects natively or with less setup. Elementor can stand out further in the market by providing direct support for GSAP features like:
ScrollTrigger for scroll-based animations.
Timeline and Stagger animations for multi-element control.
Smooth transitions and easing presets.
This integration would open doors for advanced creative storytelling, parallax experiences, and interactive product presentations—all within Elementor’s intuitive UI.
